MPS goes to the BICS!

The Board of Irish College Societies Awards takes place in Galway tonight!

DCU’s Media Production Society is in the running to be named Ireland’s best college society.

NUI Galway are hosting this year’s event. Interviews take place at the college during the morning and afternoon before the gala event at the Galway Bay Hotel, which begins tonight at 7:30pm.

The award for best society of a large college is the big prize of the evening, so we won’t find out until late tonight if MPS has won. We’ll keep you posted as details come in.

MPS won two awards last year: most improved society (large college) and Ireland’s best student society website for DCUfm.com.
