DCUfm has the widest variety of shows of any student radio station. We’re on the air from 9am to midnight each weekday with a mix of news, sport, music and arts programmes, all designed with DCU’s diverse audience in mind.

Some students like the latest nightclub hits, some don’t. At DCUfm, we cater for both.

Getting ready for your night out or want to hear the latest tracks? Preloaded, Pete’s Chart Show and a host of other programmes are for you. Is Indie more your thing? Try Indie Evening, Needle Hits The Groove or Shadowplay. There’s plenty of other types too – from classical and love music all the way over to ska and full metal!

DCUfm’s award-winning talk shows return this year along with some new ones too. The Open Line’s back and you can hear it live on Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm. Culchie Corner is on the air at a brand new time on Tuesdays at 4:50pm, with obscene culchie chat and plenty of shite talk that you can join in on.

For the first time ever, DCUfm has its own nerdy nerd show! Boomstick’s Carly Matthews Lynch, Kev McCabe  and Ed McElroy have nerdy and retro chat about anything from expandable Jesuses to bazookas.

Na déanaigí dearmard ar An Cupán Ceoil chomh maith gach Déardaoin ag a trí. Clár seachtainiúil ina phléitear ceol, cursaí reatha na hollscoile, cruthaíonn muid ár bhfoclóir féin agus go leor spraoi eile! Tá clár nua Freagraí na Seachtaine ar an aer gach Céadaoin ag a sé freisin!

We’ve also got new topical talk shows this year, like View From The Quad on Fridays at 2pm. Are you a woman or just feeling girly? Give That’s What She Said (Tuesdays 9pm) and Looser Women (Tuesdays 12pm) a listen!

Culture Café continues its second season on DCUfm this semester, with the best discussion and interviews with artists, film directors and event organisers. The show will also be keeping up its proud tradition of regular live music sessions in studio from Ireland’s musicians –  all with an edge.

DCUfm has a brand new film show this year too. Picture House is on each Thursday at 4pm with a look at the week’s releases so you know what’s worth seeing.
